Kardzhali
The main objective of the project is to create a youth center, which will provide a variety of activities and comprehensive services to support the personal development and employability of students and young people up to 29 years of age by optimizing the conditions for social inclusion of vulnerable groups and overcoming unsuitability for the labor market, as well as expanding the territorial scope and the range of participants. Offering activities implemented on the basis of non-formal methods of education in the area where young people at risk and their families reside, and creating mechanisms to encourage their active participation in public life.
The specific objectives of the project are:
Renovation of an existing building, furnishing and equipping a center for working with students and youth at risk; Creating workshops for working with students and young people in various areas, increasing the variety of activities in the field and in the center carried out by the team; Creating a prerequisite for social inclusion and inclusion of vulnerable groups, personal development and acquisition of new knowledge and skills, psychological and advisory support, empowerment of young people and their families; Providing educational support to children and youth who are still in the formal education system but are at risk of dropping out; Ensuring broad access for young people to non-formal education, non-formal education, which represents a wide range of training methods based on non-formal methodology, oriented towards individual needs and aiming to develop a number of key competencies and skills, supporting the personal and professional development of young people, preparing them for implementation in the labor market; Creating partnerships with businesses to support the successful implementation of young people in the labor market; Youth cooperation and exchange of good practices - nationally and internationally They will be achieved by building a youth center that operates in accordance with European standards for youth work and provides a variety of services and activities for young people, in accordance with the needs and desires of young people, incl. those from vulnerable groups. To achieve these goals, the project plans activities that support the multicultural approach, protect democratic values, encourage the active participation of the public and young people in the center's activities. The project proposal has been developed in accordance with the European Union Youth Strategy for the period 2019-2027, the strategic objectives of the National Youth Strategy 2021-2030 and the strategic documents of the Kardzhali Municipality in the field of social, youth and integration policy, incl. Municipal Youth Plan for 2022, Action Plan of Kardzhali Municipality for the implementation of the Kardzhali District Strategy for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of Roma (2022-2023), etc.
