Within the framework of the project, a youth center with a modern vision will be built and equipped, which will provide a wide range of educational, civic and cultural activities to support personal development and employability for students and young people from the target group, including innovative activities for the region, activities for social inclusion, overcoming social isolation and unsuitability on the labor market.
The main approach in the work of the center will be non-formal education, which represents a wide range of training methods, oriented towards individual needs and aiming to develop a number of key competencies and skills that support the personal and professional development of young people, preparing them for implementation in the labor market in the conditions of transition from an industrial to an information society.
It will be guaranteed to cover the maximum number of students and young people from the target groups and, accordingly, ensure sustainability after the completion of the project.
The activities are based on the common values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights.
The project proposal includes active, inclusive, responsible, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient activities for students and young people from vulnerable groups, which provide conditions for sustainable development, long-term economic growth and social cohesion.
During the project implementation and after its completion, the youth center will function in service of the needs of the target groups.
The expected results of the project implementation are: 10 jobs created for the main staff of the Center, increased digital skills, entrepreneurial and financial literacy, which support social inclusion and employability for youth work; at least 1200 students and young people covered in the activities of the Center, of which at least 240 young people from vulnerable groups, and youth exchange in the country and abroad.
